As I reflect on the past few months, one of the experiences I’m most thankful for is the opportunity to intern at Carlson Integrated. What started as a summer internship in 2024 has grown into something so much more, an opportunity that continues to shape my skills, confidence, and feel more prepared for my future career.
I was welcomed into a creative and collaborative environment where ideas are valued, and voices are heard. At Carlson Integrated, creativity doesn’t just live in the product itself; it’s part of every conversation, brainstorming, and Monday afternoon team meeting. And being part of a team that thrives on fresh ideas and open collaboration has been so inspiring to learn from.
One of the highlights of my internship has been designing logos for Carlson Integrated merchandise. Watching my ideas turn into real products for a brand I truly believe in has been such a rewarding experience. I’ve also had the opportunity to contribute to the social media presence of several companies, creating eye-catching content and learning what it takes to keep a brand’s digital voice consistent and engaging. These projects challenged me to think both creatively and strategically, which helped me grow as a designer and communicator. But what I value most is the team. I’ve worked alongside such talented and diverse individuals, each bringing something special to the table. I’ll always be grateful for those experiences and the connections I’ve made along the way.
This experience has helped me grow in more ways than I ever expected—not just in design and marketing, but in confidence, collaboration, and professional development. It’s been a true stepping stone toward the career I hope to build, and the lessons I’ve learned here will stay with me wherever I go.
